Brent and I ate at G'raj Mahal for the second time last night and it was once again, delicious! This is one of the newest additions to the Austin food trailer craze and I love it. This spot isn't on Congress however and can be found on 91 Red River, over in the area of Lustre Pearl and Clive Bar, both of which I have yet to visit, but keep meaning to.
Anyways, here's my take on G"Raj Mahal.
Anyways, here's my take on G"Raj Mahal.
The food is excellent and reasonably priced. Last night Brent and I shared the Vegetable Curry and it was awesome; it was plenty of food and with two bottled waters it came to just under $12. I can't remember what we had the time before but it was good as well. We'll definitely be back as this is one of our new favorite casual places. It's an interesting set up because it's sit-down dining, outside, and you have a server but it's still a trailer. Like I said, it's interesting, and it's growing on me, just realize it isn't the fastest service. The food is good and the servers are always friendly. You can bring your own wine or beer and enjoy a beautiful night out, when the weather is right, and I highly recommend it for a reasonable and very tasty meal! Just be chill and relax. If your starving be sure to order an appetizer as those seem to come out pretty quick.
